Wednesday defender Pudil has warned Huddersfield that the Owls are ready to get their play-off push back on track.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Daniel Pudil has warned Huddersfield Town that Sunday’s game is a big opportunity for them, as reported by the Huddersfield Examiner.
Wednesday have made a steady start to the season, but as we approach the end of the international break they are aiming to really push their play-off push into the next gear.
Huddersfield, on the other hand, have made a flying start to the campaign and currently sit top of the Championship table, with the two sides set to clash on Sunday.
The Owls are coming off the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion, while the game against Huddersfield will mark the return to first team action for 31-year-old Pudil.

“It’s a good game to come back for – it’s a big game against the league leaders and these are the types of matches that you want to play in,” Pudil said, via the Huddersfield Examiner.
“They are a good team, we saw that last year when they gave us a hard match and they have started this season well and are top of the league at the moment.
“We lost our last game so this is a chance for us to try and get winning again and it would be good for us to do that against the top team so far.”

Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal has already stated that he is expecting a strong support from fans this weekend as they look to build some momentum in what is becoming an increasing difficult division.
Following the derby clash Wednesday have a winnable set of fixture in the next few weeks, with supporters hoping that the Yorkshire club can prove their promotion credentials against such a high-flying team.
