Pudil signed a new one-year contract at Sheffield Wednesday last month.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Daniel Pudil has made an off-season visit to one of his former clubs.
The Czech – who appeared to be working on his fitness ahead of Wednesday’s return to training at the end of this month -added two posts from Liberec’s Stadion u Nisy to his Instagram story on Thursday.

Pudil spent four years on the books of residents Slovan Liberec at the beginning of his career.
But having signed a new one-year contract at Hillsborough as recently as last month, Wednesday fans perhaps needn’t worry about him staying there for good.

Pudil, who turns 33 in September, is not the only Owls player undertaking extra-curricular work ahead of the new campaign, with the recovering Joost van Aken positing frequent updates of his own on Instagram.
Van Aken has failed to appear since December for Sheffield Wednesday, whose manager Jos Luhukay admitted earlier this year that the Dutch defender was his only pre-season fitness concern.
