The Irishman moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2017.

The Sheffield Wednesday academy midfielder, Conor Grant, has expressed his delight after signing his first professional contract at Hillsborough.
Grant moved to Wednesday in 2017 from Shamrock Rovers, having impressed on trial with the Owls.
And he has continued in that vein, helping Andy Holdsworth’s Under-18s side to the top of their league this season – while also turning out for Neil Thompson’s Under-23s, on occasion.
Reflecting on his new deal, Grant told Sheffield Wednesday’s official website earlier: “I’m delighted with it, it’s a dream true.
“It’s an unbelievable feeling, you put in all the hard work when you’re young and then when you finally get the news about the contract you are over the moon.
“I’m really happy that the hard work has paid off.”

And having seen teammates Isaac Rice and Liam Shaw involved in Sheffield Wednesday’s first team squads this season, the Republic of Ireland U18 international is keen to follow suit.
“We (the U18s) are doing very well,” he added. “Young lads at Wednesday are getting opportunities in the first team, so I just want to keep working hard and see what happens.”
Rice and Shaw are among the Owls players to have congratulated the 17-year-old on Twitter.
Grant will also hope to emulate fellow Irishmen Alan Quinn, Derek Geary and Owen Morrison, who each became Sheffield Wednesday regulars after leaving their homeland for Hillsborough as youngsters.
