The midfielder has not played for Sheffield Wednesday since December.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Barry Bannan has revealed he is ‘pain free’ in a conversation with a fan on Twitter.
Bannan, a key member of a Wednesday which reached the play-offs in each of his first two seasons at Hillsborough, has not played since the 3-1 defeat against Norwich City on 9th December.
The Scotland midfielder was thought to be close to making a return to action but visited a specialist in London this week after suffering a setback.
Posting on Twitter on Thursday however, Bannan delivered a – seemingly – positive update.
In response to @Hooper1977Chris, the 28-year-old added:
Bannan is one of 10 players yet to feature under Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay, who arrived at Hillsborough in early January.

Of those, only Tom Lees is expected back imminently, with no sign – as yet – of Keiren Westwood, Joost van Aken, Sam Hutchinson, Almen Abdi, Kieran Lee, Fernando Forestieri, Gary Hooper or Steven Fletcher.
How big a loss has Bannan been for Sheffield Wednesday this season?
