Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has hinted at an imminent return from injury.
Westwood has not appeared for Wednesday since early December, due to a groin problem, and had his return date repeatedly pushed back by the Owls.
His selection by the Republic of Ireland last week for their upcoming friendly against Turkey sparked conspiracy theories as to whether the 33-year-old was actually injured at all.
However, Westwood appears to have banished those rumours with the following tweet on Sunday evening:

Even if Westwood was fit to return, a first team aappearance could still be some way off if the paths of several other recovering teammates are anything to go by.
