The pair have been regulars since being restored to the Sheffield Wednesday XI late last month.
Sheffield Wednesday could be forced to change two of their regular starting line-up against Luton Town on Tuesday.
The Owls have named a largely settled side in recent weeks, but have doubts over Keiren Westwood and Sam Hutchinson for their trip to Kenilworth Road.
And although Wednesday have a ready-made Westwood replacement in Cameron Dawson, they could find themselves short of alternatives if Hutchinson is not passed fit, with Joey Pelupessy also carrying a knock.
Speaking via the official Sheffield Wednesday Facebook page on Monday, the Hillsborough caretaker manager, Steve Agnew revealed: “Sam Hutchinson’s struggling – he’s 50-50 at the moment. He took a helluva whack and he’s sore this morning so he couldn’t train. So we’ll have a look at that one tomorrow morning.
“And Joey Pelupessy, he’s had a sore ankle. He made the weekend but he rocked his ankle at the back end of last week and he’s still sore, so again there’s a doubt with Joey.”
Asked whether Dawson – who lost his place to Westwood after Jos Luhukay’s departure as manager last month, could return to Wednesday’s XI – after starting last week’s original tie, Agnew replied: “I have to say Keiren, who made some terrific saves [during Saturday’s defeat at Hull City] has a sore toe and he’s gone for a scan so at the minute there is a doubt with Keiren.
“If that was (to be) the case [that Westwood misses out], then we have an adequate replacement in Cameron.
“He [Westwood] was limping around this morning. Again, we’ll have a look later this afternoon, early tomorrow morning.”
Either Sheffield Wednesday or Luton will travel to Hutchinson’s former club, Chelsea, in the FA Cup fourth round later this month.
The 29-year-old progressed through the Blues’ academy ranks before leaving for Wednesday in 2014.
