Fulham sacked manager Slavisa Jokanovic earlier today.

Fulham’s poor form has been a major talking point in the Premier League of late, and finally resulted in Slavisa Jokanovic losing his job this morning.
The Cottagers, who clinched promotion by beating Aston Villa 1-0 in the Championship play-off final, splashed more than £100miillion on new signings in the summer, including eight additions in the final week of the window.
That gave Jokanovic little time to get his team settled and working harmoniously, and six defeats in a row have now seen him leave Craven Cottage, with Fulham sacking him today, almost 72 hours on from a 2-0 loss at Liverpool.
Fulham also announced his replacement in the same statement, as Italian Claudio Ranieri has been brought in as his successor, returning to the Premier League over 18 months since losing his job as Leicester City boss.
Ranieri, 67, is no stranger to West London having spent nearly four years in charge of Chelsea, and is famous for leading Leicester to their remarkable Premier League title win in 2016, with Fulham hoping for some of that magic this season.
Jokanovic is now out of a job, as the Serb’s nomadic managerial career takes another term. Jokanovic has now managed in Serbia, Thailand, Bulgaria, Spain and Israel, as well as winning promotion with two Championship teams but managing only 12 games across those two top-flight spells.

Any Championship club with real aspirations of promotion will be eyeing up Jokanovic, and Sheffield Wednesday fans are currently disgruntled with life under Dutchman Jos Luhukay, after one win in their last eight games.
Owls supporters have taken to Twitter to urge owner Dejphon Chansiri to sack Luhukay and push the boat out to land Jokanovic, even predicting that he would bring Stuart Gray – a former Wednesday manager – back to Hillsborough as his assistant having worked together at Fulham.
