With three league games in six days to follow, Wednesday are expected to rest some of their key men at the Stadium of Light.
And that could spell opportunities for some of the Owls youngsters, with Preslav Borukov the name on many people’s lips ahead of kick-off.

And according to Jordan Thorniley’s Instagram story update – which appeared to show Borukov dining with the first team on Thursday – the Bulgarian teenager is in contention to feature.
