Loovens looks set to leave Sheffield Wednesday after four-and-a-half years.

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are calling on their manager to recall Glenn Loovens for Sunday’s season finale against Norwich City.
Loovens, who has failed to appear in a single matchday squad since early March, is out of contract at Hillsborough this summer, and widely expected to leave.
The Wednesday club captain is also one of the Owls’ longest serving players, and a key member of the side that made the play-offs in each of the two seasons prior to this one.

However, his performances have suffered a visible decline this campaign, causing some to forget just how good a servant the 34-year-old has been since Stuart Gray recruited him, shortly after the sacking of Loovens’ former manager Dave Jones.
This lot, though, are not among them…
Another Wednesday veteran, Ross Wallace, hinted on Instagram earlier that he is leaving Hillsborough when his deal expires.
However, Wallace will not feature against Norwich due to a knee injury suffered in February.
