Hector has been a mainstay in Wednesday’s team since joining on loan from Chelsea.
And the central defender admits that he was honoured to have been voted Wednesday’s best player this term by the fans.
Owls supporters were quick to respond to Hector by encouraging him to sign on a permanent deal.
Wednesday boss Steve Bruce has already admitted that he wants to sign Hector next season.
The 26-year-old has also suggested that he would like to remain at Hillsborough.
Whether Wednesday will be able to agree a deal with Chelsea for rock-solid centre-back remains to be seen though.
The Owls are having to cut costs this summer, and are known not to have masses of funds to spend.
