Wallace featured for Wednesday in their Championship game against Norwich away from home at Carrow Road on Saturday evening.
The 32-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Canaries won 3-1.
Wallace has been on the books of Wednesday since the summer of 2015 when he joined after leaving Burnley at the end of the 2014-15 season.
The former Celtic and Sunderland winger has scored one goal and provided two assists in 14 Championship starts for the Owls so far this campaign.
During the 2016-17 season, the 32-year-old winger scored five goals and provided six assists in 34 league starts for Wednesday.
