Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Newcastle United-owned Rolando Aarons against Sheffield United.

Aarons, signed on loan from Premier League club Newcastle in the January transfer window, was in action for Wednesday in the Sheffield derby against United at the Hillsborough Stadium on Monday evening.

The 23-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Championship game ended in a goalless draw.

The youngster took a while to get into the game, and there were moments when he looked very good, but there were also occasions when he could have done better.

According to WhoScored, against United, Aarons took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 81.3%, won one header, made two tackles and two clearances, and played one key pass.

The winger has made three starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Wednesday since his loan switch from Newcastle in the January transfer window, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
