Damba resurfaced for Sheffield Wednesday’s Under-23s on Monday.
Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting to reports the Owls are set to offer a deal to trialist striker Omar Damba.
Damba resurfaced in Wednesday’s Under-23s on Monday – two months after his first appearance for Neil Thompson’s side.
And Thompson was quoted by the Sheffield Star afterwards as saying that a transfer could happen in the new year.
Damba, who is on the books of the Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA), played most of the 2-1 win against Hull, in which he had three goals disallowed for offside.
But he looks to have done enough to impress the Owls, nonetheless.

RIASA, whose alumni includes the Burnley striker Nahki Wells, previously described Damba as a ‘quick, strong and dangerous goal-scorer’ and revealed that he was coached by Rob Jones, the former Sheffield Wednesday captain.
