Murphy, who joined Wednesday on loan from Premier League club Newcastle in the summer transfer window, featured for the Owls in their Championship game against Barnsley at the Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 24-year-old winger started the game and played for 74 minutes, as the Owls won 2-0.
The former Norwich City star played well for the home team and scored the opening goal as early as the second minute.
According to WhoScored, the former England Under-21 international took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 80%, made two tackles and one interception, and made one key pass.
Murphy is a very good winger, who has struggled to make an impact at Newcastle, and perhaps a loan spell at the Owls will help him recover his old form.
