Newcastle United winger scored on his Sheffield Wednesday debut, but failed to maintain his impressive performance levels.
Sheffield Wednesday fans have slated Newcastle United loanee Jacob Murphy.
Wednesday signed Murphy on loan from Newcastle towards the back end of the transfer window, and he made a bright start to his career at Hillsborough, as he scored two minutes into his debut.
However, Wednesday fans were far from impressed with Murphy yesterday.
The Newcastle loanee failed to make any sort of impact as Wednesday lost 1-0 against the 10 men of Millwall.
And Owls supporters were scathing with their assessment of Murphy’s display.
Murphy surely must have a positive loan spell at Wednesday if he is to have any chance of making it back into Newcastle’s plans.
The winger has made a very limited impact ever since he moved to St. James’ Park, and now needs to rediscover his best form in the Championship.
