Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Sochaux forward Moussa Sao.
According to The Sun, Wednesday are among the clubs interested in signing Sao on a free transfer this summer.
The 28-year-old forward, who is out of contract at French club Sochaux this summer, is also on the radar of the Owls’ Championship rivals Reading and Stoke City, according to the British tabloid.
Sao made 17 appearances in Ligue 2 for Sochaux this past season, providing three assists in the process, according to Transfermarkt.com.
According to The Sun, since joining Sochaux, the forward has scored nine goals in 68 domestic matches.
The Owls endured a disappointing season in the Championship this past campaign and will be aiming to finish in the top six in 2018-19.
