Poor defending once again proved Sheffield Wednesday’s downfall against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
Wednesday controlled large parts of the game – albeit with few clear cut chances to show for it – but shipped a trio of soft goals to lose 3-0 at Loftus Road.
The Owls switched from a back five to a four in the capital, with Michael Hector the only defender remaining from Friday’s 2-1 loss against Middlesbrough.
And – despite surrendering possession in the lead up to TWO of QPR’s goals – the on-loan Chelsea player is one of only a few to have drawn praise from the Sheffield Wednesday faithful afterwards.

Hector has yet to make a competitive appearance for Chelsea – despite costing the Blues around £5 million three years ago – and spent the previous campaign on loan to Hull City.
The Jamaica international still has 20 months to run on his Blues deal.
