Michael Hector, signed on loan from Chelsea, was in action for Sheffield Wednesday against Derby County.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Chelsea-owned central defender Michael Hector against Derby County.
Hector, who joined Wednesday on loan from Premier League club Chelsea in the summer transfer window, featured in the Owls’ 2-1 defeat to Derby at the Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old central defender started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The centre-back was at fault for Derby’s opening goal, and his terrible clearance also led to Jack Marriott’s winner.
According to WhoScored, against Derby, Hector took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 63.2%, made one interception and four clearances, and put in one cross.
The loss at the hands of the Rams means that the Owls are now just three points above the Championship relegation zone.
Wednesday fans were not impressed with the performance of Hector and have criticised the former Reading defender – who earns £17,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – on Twitter.
