Palmer featured for Wednesday in their Championship game against Hull away from home at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old, who can operate as a midfielder or as a right-back, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Owls lost 3-0.
It was a tough afternoon for the defender and struggled to cope at times with the Hull attackers.
According to WhoScored, Palmer had a pass accuracy of 64.1%, won one header, and made two tackles, one interception and five clearances.
Over the course of the 90 minus at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Hull had 52% of the possession, took 17 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Wednesday had 48% of the possession, took three shots of which none was on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
