Tottenham Hotspur-owned Josh Onomah played well for Sheffield Wednesday against Preston North End on Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Tottenham Hotspur-owned midfielder Josh Onomah against Preston North End at home on Saturday afternoon.
Onomah, who joined Wednesday on loan from Premier League club Tottenham in the summer transfer window, featured for the Owls in their Championship game against Preston at the Hillsborough Stadium.
The 21-year-old midfielder started the game and played for 81 minutes, as the home team won 1-0.
The youngster did not have a great first half and struggled to impose himself on the match, but the midfielder stepped up his game after the break.
The England Under-21 international provided the assist for Michael Hector’s winner with a brilliant cross.
According to WhoScored, Onomah had a pass accuracy of 85.3%, won one header, made one tackle, and played three key passes.

The midfielder has made eight starts and two substitute appearances for the Owls in the Championship so far this season, providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Onomah’s performance for Wednesday against Swansea City last weekend was strongly criticised by then Owls manager Jos Luhukay, as quoted in The Star, but the youngster’s display against Preston impressed the fans of the Yorkshire club.
