Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joey Pelupessy against Norwich City on Friday evening.

Pelupessy was in action for Wednesday in their Championship game against Norwich away from home at Carrow Road.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder did not start the match, but he came on as a substitute in the 33rd minute, as it ended in a 2-2 draw.

The Dutchman was strong in the middle of the park, retained possession, and passed the ball well.

According to WhoScored, Pelupessy had a pass accuracy of 86.7%, won one header, made four tackles, one interception and two clearances, and played one key pass.

So far this season, the former Heracles Almelo defensive midfielder has made 23 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for the Owls, providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Pelupessy – who joined the Owls from Dutch club Heracles Almelo in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Star to be worth £500,000.
