The Owls striker, who hasn’t featured this season, is believed to interest some MLS clubs. Here is what some fans have said on Twitter.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Hooper has been linked with a move away from Hillsborough, according to a report.
The 30-year-old scored 11 goals in 25 appearances for the Owls last season, but has been sidelined by a groin injury and had surgery in November.
Hooper’s overall goal tally for Wednesday since his January 2016 move from Norwich City stands at 30 goals in 83 appearances, plus 11 assists, according to Transfermarkt.
However, he has not featured this term for the Championship club and, with his contract up at the end of the season, speculation regarding his future is undoubtedly set to increase.
According to Sky Sports News, Major League Soccer sides DC United and Vancouver Whitecaps are interested in Hooper, as are several clubs in China.
Here is what some Wednesday fans have said on Twitter regarding the forward’s potential departure from South Yorkshire, with many saying they rate him highly but would grudgingly move him on given his injury record:
Prior to joining Wednesday, Hooper played for a number of clubs including Grays Athletic, Southend United, Scunthorpe United and Celtic, as well as several loan spells in England for the likes of Leyton Orient and Hereford, as stated on Transfermarkt.
