The former Sheffield Wednesday loan star failed to feature against them for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Danny Batth’s omission from Wolverhampton Wanderers’ squad to face Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday has got some Owls fans dreaming.
Batth, who captains his boyhood club, is yet to play a single minute of football since Wolves’ promotion.
And one would think that were there ever a good time for Batth to return, a trip to Championship Sheffield Wednesday would be it.
But, speaking after a comfortable 2-0 win for his side at Hillsborough, the Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo suggested the centre-back could be on his way out of Molineux ahead of Friday’s European and Football League loan and free transfer windows.

Although by that point, several of an Owls persuasion were already discussing a return for Batth, who starred while on loan with their side during the 2011-12 season.
This is what’s been said on Twitter…
Sheffield Wednesday are reported to have prioritised the signing of a new central defender this summer, although it remains to be seen whether the Owls’ budget, which is under scrutiny from the English Football League, would stretch to a player of Batth’s calibre.
The 27-year-old has 22 months left on his contract at Wolves.
