Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Sunderland.

Wednesday got the better of Sunderland 3-1 away from home at the Stadium of Light in the Championship on Monday afternoon.

It was the Owls’ third successive win and has seen them move further away from the relegation zone.

Bannan started for Wednesday in the Championship game against Sunderland and played for 83 minutes.

The 28-year-old Scotland international midfielder has taken to Twitter to revel in the win against Sunderland, who now look set to get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light on Monday afternoon, visitors Wednesday had 47% of the possession, took eight shots of which five were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

Bannan has started 23 matches and made one substitute appearance for Wednesday so far this season providing three assists in the process.
