Sheffield Wednesday ran out 3-0 winners against Leeds United this weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday made light work of Leeds United on Sunday, with the Owls winning 3-0 courtesy of a Gary Hooper brace and a goal from Kieran Lee, but their teammate Barry Bannan was also outstanding from first kick to last.
In truth Leeds did not turn up, with only Samu Saiz playing to his potential and too many of Thomas Christiansen’s men looking off the pace from the outset.

It was an alarming performance from the Whites but Wednesday will not be complaining, as they played out their game plan to perfection.
Bannan does not always pull the strings but on this occasion he did and Wednesday fans will be hoping the 27-year-old can continue in this run of form on the other side of the international break.

The Wednesday midfielder has barely missed a minute of Championship action and he is vital to so much they do, as he proved in emphatic fashion against a Leeds side that needs to start performing against the best sides in the division.
