Callum McManaman has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan from West Bromwich Albion until the end of the season.
Callum McManaman has impressed on his first appearance for Sheffield Wednesday, after joining on loan from West Bromwich Albion.
McManaman was thrown straight in at the deep end by Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal, and he was selected to start for against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday.
The wide-man who had not appeared for West Brom’s senior side all season, looked sharp during his time on the pitch, although he was unable to inspire Wednesday to victory.

McManaman was given 53 minutes to impress on debut, as the Owls picked up a 0-0 draw with Wolves.
Although the result was a disappointment for Wednesday fans, they were encouraged by what they saw from their side’s first addition of the January transfer window.
Wednesday are expected to add further players in the coming weeks, as they look to strengthen their play off bid.
The Owls are currently in sixth place in the Championship table, and have lost just once in their last nine outings.
