Sheffield Wednesday are said to be preparing to offload Sam Winnall this month.

Sheffield Wednesday fans are not keen on the idea of Sam Winnall being allowed to leave.

The Sheffield Star claim that Wednesday are open to loan offers for Winnall, who has only had a limited amount of game time recently.

And the general consensus among the Hillsborough crowd is that Winnall shouldn’t be let go by Steve Bruce.

Winnall has struggled badly with injury in recent times, and rarely featured this season.

The hard-working forward has played just four times, and it seems that he could leave before Steve Bruce has even had a chance to take a look at his talents.

Winnall is almost certain to attract attention from Football League sides if he is made available, as he has a proven track record as a goalscorer.

Wednesday’s next match comes against Ipswich Town at the weekend, by which time Winnall may well have left Hillsborough.
