Sheffield Wednesday fans react on Twitter to Atdhe Nuhiu's performance against Nottingham Forest

Sheffield Wednesday fans have blasted Atdhe Nuhiu after his performance for them against Nottingham Forest last night.

Nuhiu was selected to start for Wednesday yesterday by Jos Luhukay, but he failed to impress.

The Owls slumped to a 2-1 defeat at the City Ground, and Nuhiu very rarely posed a threat.

Most Wednesday fans have now called for Nuhiu to be dropped, as they feel he is offering very little to them.

Nuhiu has featured in six of Wednesday’s Championship matches so far this season, but he only has one goal to his name.

The Kosovo international has always divided opinion at Hillsborough, and it seems that his critics are only becoming more vocal.

IMO I do not know what the Jos see’s in Matias and Nuhiu, wouldn’t even pick them for my U18’s Sunday league team. Sat Fletcher and Fessi have to start. If Jos doesn’t start picking his strongest squad against better teams, we are going to slowly start going towards relegation.

Little praise for #SWFC. Very busy, worked hard but aside from 1 chance for Nuhiu, offered little going forward. Disallowed goal was from a set piece, actual goal took a massive deflection. Fans, as always, travelled magnificently, looking as though they sold out the away end.
