Sheffield Wednesday’s losses are up more than £11 million.
Sheffield Wednesday have published their annual accounts, which show losses of more than £20 million.
Wednesday lost £20,726,000 during the year up to May 2017 – an increase of more than £11 million on last year’s figures of £9,659,000.
According to Rob Staton of BBC Radio Sheffield, however, the new figures do not include various ‘add backs’ and may be different to those submitted to the EFL, which are confidential.
Things then may not be as bad as they seem, although this has not stopped Sheffield Wednesday’s naturally pessimistic fanbase from working themselves into a panic.
