Veteran Wallace left Wednesday this summer on a free transfer.

Ross Wallace has finally found a new club in Fleetwood Town after leaving Sheffield Wednesday this summer on a free transfer, after his contract expired at Hillsborough back in June – and Wednesday fans are delighted for Wallace.
The 33-year-old spent three years at Wednesday after the Championship club signed the set-piece specialist from Premier League side Burnley on a free transfer.
He clocked up 124 league and cup appearances for The Owls during his three-year spell, scoring 13 goals and turning provider another 20 times in blue and white.
However, he was not given a new contract by Wednesday and Joey Barton has decided to snap up the one-time Scotland international on a free transfer in a bid to boost his side’s hunt for the top six in League One.

Wallace joins former Burnley teammates Chris Long and Dean Marney at Fleetwood, who have made a decent enough start to life in League One under Barton – losing only one of their eight league games and sitting in eighth place.
Wednesday fans reacted to the news that Wallace had joined Fleetwood with delight, wishing the midfielder all the best with Fleetwood after the club confirmed they had signed him – after a trial with Wigan Athletic was unsuccessful.
