Sheffield United saw Jamie Vardy score at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.

Leicester City claimed their first win of the new Premier League season on Saturday afternoon, beating Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane.
The Foxes had drawn their first two games of the campaign, against Wolves and Chelsea, but claimed all three points in South Yorkshire.
It was just written in the stars that Sheffield Wednesday-supporting striker Jamie Vardy would score, and he duly obliged in the first half, as he latched onto a superb James Maddison pass to score.
Oliver McBurnie scored the equaliser for the Blades after the break, only for Harvey Barnes to smash home the winner for Leicester.
Brendan Rodgers will be delighted to get the first win, but the day was even better for Vardy, who certainly enjoyed his moment against Wednesday’s bitter rivals.
Vardy scored in front of the Kop at Bramall Lane, and immediately stood in front of the Blades fans with his hands cupped to his ears, embracing all the hatred being sent his way.

United fans were furious as Vardy – who was released by Wednesday as a teenager way back in 2002 – goaded supporters, which only increased the love from Owls fans, despite their side losing at Preston on Saturday.
Wednesday fans took to Twitter to praise Vardy as a ‘machine’, hailing his ‘masterclass’ whilst claiming that seeing him score against the Blades made them smile despite their own defeat.
