The Sheffield Wednesday striker joined Norwich City on loan in July.

As this writer has said before on this website, Jordan Rhodes doing well at Norwich City is a good thing for Sheffield Wednesday – whichever way you look at it.
Either Rhodes returns from his loan spell next summer with a confidence he never seemed to possess in his first 18 months at Hillsborough, or Wednesday recoup some of their money back – from Norwich or someone else.
The Owls’ £8 million record signing hasn’t had the strongest of starts to his Norwich career, although his goals tally now reds: Played 11; scored five, after Tuesday’s hat-trick in the EFL Cup – albeit against League One Wycombe Wanderers – and some Canaries fans, like manager Daniel Farke, are far from concerned by his progress…

Rhodes, who turns 29 in February, still has another two seasons left on his Sheffield Wednesday contract, after this one.
