The Sheffield Wednesday midfielder is enjoying his most productive ever season in professional football.

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are expressing concern after Barry Bannan withdrew from Scotland duty on Sunday.
Bannan was heavily involved as Wednesday beat Blackburn 4-2 on Saturday, continuing the run of form that led to his international recall after 18 months.
But Scotland announced the midfielder’s release less than 24 hours later, without an explanation.
Sheffield Wednesday are already without Joost van Aken, Achraf Lazaar, Matt Penney, Josh Onomah, Kieran Lee, Fernando Forestieri, Lucas Joao and Gary Hooper due to injury, and have added Sam Hutchinson and Steven Fletcher to their list of absentees since Blackburn.

Bannan is enjoying his most productive ever season as a professional footballer, having scored or assisted 12 goals in 35 league games.
The 29-year-old was not directly replaced by the Scotland manager, Alex McLeish, who did however hand a maiden call-up to the Sheffield Wednesday-linked Kilmarnock defender, Stuart Findlay.
