The Owls have brought the winger to Hillsborough following his release by Cardiff.

A number of Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Owls signing Kadeem Harris following his release by Cardiff City (official Owls website).
The 26-year-old had been with the Bluebirds since 2012, helping them win promotion to the Premier League in 2018 and playing 13 times in the top flight last season – 15 in all competitions – and scoring one goal (Transfermarkt).
Following his release by Neil Warnock’s side at the end of last season, Harris has linked up with the Owls, though the Yorkshire club has not specified the length of his contract in the statement.
The winger began his career with Wycombe Wanderers and has also had loan spells with Barnsley and Brentford, and becomes the Owls’ third summer signing, following in the footsteps of Julian Borner and Moses Odubajo.
Here is what some Owls supporters said on social media about Harris joining the Hillsborough side, as well as his bright debut for the club later in the day against Stocksbridge Park Steels, which included a goal:
Harris will get the opportunity to line up against his former side as the two are both in the Championship this season, meeting on 19 October in the Welsh capital and on 29 December at Hillsborough.
