Nuhiu’s contract at Hillsborough comes to an end in the summer, but he is currently enjoying his finest run of form since joining the Owls.
The powerful striker scored against Sunderland in Wednesday’s last match, to take his total to nine goals in his last 12 outings.
However, despite Nuhiu’s purple patch, there are a section of Wednesday fans who are not convinced he is good enough to lead their line next term.
And there is a difference in opinion from Owls supporters over whether Nuhiu should be given a new contract.
Whether Nuhiu is given a new deal or not, it seems that he still has an important role to play this season.
Wednesday have eased any slight relegation concerns by improving of late and pushing up the league.
