Sheffield Wednesday fans have appealed for Jordan Rhodes to come back after he scored twice for Norwich City last night.

Rhodes hit the back of the net on two occasions, as Norwich edged past Aston Villa.

And Wednesday fans now believe that they have made a mistake by letting Rhodes leave on loan.

Rhodes always struggled for form at Wednesday, but he seems to have re-found his goalscoring touch since moving to Carrow Road.

The Scottish international now has seven goals for the season in just 16 appearances, with many of these displays coming as a substitute.

To make matters worse for Wednesday, they were heavily beaten last night.

Jos Luhukay’s side travelled to QPR but lost 3-0 at Loftus Road, with Wednesday fans clearly frustrated at their side’s lack of attacking intent during the contest.
