Sheffield Wednesday fans are calling for Kevin Pressman’s return if Andy Rhodes leaves for Oldham Athletic.

The Sun reports Rhodes is quitting his role as Wednesday goalkeeper coach to become Oldham’s assistant manager, working alongside his former Latics teammate Frankie Bunn.

Pressman, meanwhile, is out of work after leaving Millwall at the end of last season, and after the 50-year-old’s 17-year spell as a player at Hillsborough, many view him as the ideal replacement.

This is what they are saying…

Rhodes, whose son Jordan plays as a striker for Sheffield Wednesday, was appointed Owls goalkeeper coach in January 2010, and is extremely well-regarded at Hillsborough.

Rhodes Snr counts England youth internationals Cameron Dawson and Joe Wildsmith among those whose careers he has helped to develop in that time, while experienced trio Keiren Westwood, Chris Kirkland and Nicky Weaver have each been forthcoming with their praise of the 53-year-old former Oldham player and coach.
