Allardyce was sacked by Everton on Wednesday.

Michael Vaughan, the former England cricket captain, has claimed that he would drive Sam Allardyce to Sheffield Wednesday after the 63-year-old was sacked by Everton earlier today (Wednesday).
Allardyce took Everton from 13th to eighth in his six months in charge at Goodison Park, eliminating the threat of relegation.
However, the former England manager’s style of play, along with his perceived failure to embrace the Merseyside club, united the bulk of Everton’s fanbase against him.

Plenty outside of Goodison have defended Big Sam’s work, mind, with Vaughan – a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday supporter – among them.
Replying to one Everton fan on Twitter, Vaughan wrote:
While Allardyce ultimately drove Everton supporters against him as his Goodison career progressed, Jos Luhukay appears to have had the opposite effect on most Sheffield Wednesday fans, many of whom were sceptical of the Dutchman in the early weeks and months that followed his January appointment.

Luhukay led the Owls to victories in six of their final nine fixtures in 2017-18, which helped to restore optimism after a season of underachievement at Hillsborough.
Wednesdayites – would you swap Jos for Big Sam next season?
