Damba is coached by a former Sheffield Wednesday captain.

Sheffield Wednesday appear to have taken Omar Damba on trial.
The striker started the Owls Under-23s’ 1-0 win at Hull City on Saturday.
Afterwards, Damba’s club, the Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA), acknowledged the youngster’s presence at the KCOM Stadium but would not confirm whether or not he is on trial, and if so how long for.
RIASA did however describe Damba as a ‘quick, strong and dangerous goal-scorer’, and revealed that he is coached by Rob Jones, the former Sheffield Wednesday captain.
The on-loan Queens Park Rangers striker Nahki Wells is among the Leeds-based RIASA alumni.

Liam Waldock’s stoppage time goal gave Sheffield Wednesday U23s their second successive win, in which Sam Winnall played 70 minutes on his comeback from injury.
