Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough reportedly want Burnley defender Ben Gibson.

The report, though, has claimed that the 26-year-old defender is not looking to drop back down into the Championship, with The Sunday People (print edition, page 50, June 23, 2019) reporting that Burnley are open to listening to offers for the former England Under-21 international.
Burnley struggles
Gibson started his professional club football career at Middlesbrough and played in the Premier League with Boro as well.
The 26-year-old, though, did not have a great time at Burnley this past season following his move from Middlesbrough for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £15 million, and there is no surprise that the Clarets are open to selling him.

Good signing for Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough?
Gibson knows Middlesbrough inside out, and the Englishman would have no problem in getting back his place at the heart of the Boro defence, and the 26-year-old would also enhance the quality of the Wednesday backline.
