Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic fans have agreed with Roy Keane’s criticism of Everton’s Aiden McGeady.

Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic fans have agreed with Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane’s scathing criticism of Aiden McGeady.
Keane slammed McGeady, after the winger played in Ireland’s 2-1 defeat to Belarus last night.
“My reaction to Aiden’s performance? He can do a lot better but maybe that’s the story of Aiden’s career,” Keane said to the Daily Record.
McGeady has not received any support from fans of his current or former club since Keane made the statement.
Celtic and Sheffield Wednesday fans have joined Keane in suggesting that McGeady has not become the player that he should have done.
McGeady broke through at Celtic as a youngster and looked a huge talent, but he has failed to push on as expected.
The skilful winger has not made much of an impression since moving to Everton from Spartak Moscow, and the fact that he was not even in Wednesday’s squad for the Championship play off final highlights how far he has fallen.
McGeady’s future is now uncertain with Everton likely to want to sell the wide-man this summer.
