Sheffield Wednesday supporters have praised Tom Lees’ performances, hailing him a different player under Lee Bullen.

Wednesday parted company with Jos Luhukay before Christmas, and they have now won their last two matches.

The Owls have kept two clean sheets in a row under the guidance of Bullen.

And Lees’ performances at the back have been much improved in recent weeks.

Lees was Wednesday’s best defender prior to this season, but his performances have dipped this time around.

The combative centre-back seemed to struggle with Luhukay’s tactics, which did not suit his style.

However, Wednesday have tinkered with their tactics since Luhukay’s departure and have looked a much more solid side for it.

Bullen could now have a chance at landing the job on a permanent basis, although Steve Bruce still remains the favourite.
