Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has spoken up in defence of Jos Luhukay.

Luhukay has come under great pressure at Wednesday, after a disastrous run of form which has seen them lose four matches in a row.
Wednesday were beaten 4-0 by Norwich City in their most recent outing, to pile the pressure on Luhukay.
The calls for the Owls boss to lose his job are only growing louder from the stands.
But Bannan was keen to protect the Wednesday manager with his comments to the press.
The midfielder said: “We are all behind the manager. It’s not the manager’s fault. It’s the players who go out there and play week in, week out. It is us who have got to take the flak. We are the ones playing.”

Wednesday fans have criticised Bannan for speaking in defence of his manager though.
They feel that Bannan had said similar when Carlos Carvalhal was in charge.
And Wednesday supporters still feel that it is time for Luhukay to go.
