The Sheffield United star has linked up with his country ahead of Tuesday’s Nations League fixture.

Alex McLeish has described John Fleck as ‘looking extremely comfortable’ at the Sheffield United midfielder’s first Scotland training session.
Fleck was called into the Tartan Army side on Friday, although he did not meet up with his international teammates until after Saturday’s 4-0 win against Albania.
And the 27-year-old could make his long awaited debut when Scotland host Israel at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
Speaking to the Daily Record on Monday, McLeish said: “John trained today and looked extremely comfortable.
“His composure on the ball was excellent this morning. He’s a very comfortable player and slotted in no problem.”

Fleck has been in fine form for Sheffield United this season, continuing where he left off in the previous two campaigns, but had remained overlooked by Scotland bosses Gordon Strachan and McLeish.
But the latter was forced into action after Aston Villa’s John McGinn, bother of the former Blades midfielder, Stephen, became the latest player to withdraw from his squad.

Fleck received the nod ahead of Barry Bannan, the 27-cap Sheffield Wednesday midfielder he helped to stifle during this month’s Steel City derby at Bramall Lane.
