The Sheffield United boss is now third favourite to take over at West Bromwich Albion.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is now 5/1 to succeed Alan Pardew at West Bromwich Albion with one bookmaker.
The 50-year-old is third favourite to take the West Brom reins, behind only Brentford’s Dean Smith (3/1) and Baggies interim manager Darren Moore (9/2).

Wilder has taken Sheffield United to the brink of the Championship play-offs this season, having led them to the League One title in his first season in charge.
However, only this week the lifelong Blades supporter called for an urgent end to the boardroom disharmony which has overshadowed the past few months of his side’s campaign.

And speaking on Sheffield Live TV on Thursday, former United captain David Holdsworth said Wilder, one of his old Bramall Lane teammates, could have a difficult decision to make this summer – especially if clubs such as Southampton and West Brom come calling.
Barring an almost unthinkable escape, Albion look set to face Sheffield United in next season’s Championship.
