Rangers seem set to sell Waghorn in the winter despite his heroics last season.
It is looking increasingly likely that Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn may be on his way out of the club in January.
The Sun recently reported that Waghorn was disappointed not to have been offered a lucrative new deal at the club and was therefore considering his options – with clubs in England keen to sign last season’s top-scorer for Rangers.

Just today it was reported by the Bristol Post that Rangers are looking to sell the player, with a fee of £400,000 being mentioned as a potential price-tag to convince the Gers into letting him depart Ibrox.
The likes of Fulham and Bristol City have been linked with his signature so far, but should a League One side join the hunt?

Sheffield United should certainly consider making a move for the player to bolster their attacking line-up for the second half of the season.
The Blades are currently third in League One after a brilliant run of recent form and will be hoping to earn automatic promotion this season.
At the moment Billy Sharp is the man scoring all their goals and he would form a lethal partnership with Waghorn, and at that price it would be a snip for Chris Wilder’s men.

Waghorn is not currently in great form for Rangers, without a goal since September, but his feats from last term should excited Sheffield United fans. He was immense, scoring 28 goals as Rangers were promoted back to the Scottish Premiership.
If Sheffield United could get that Waghorn, then promotion would surely be on the cards again for the 26-year-old.
