Williams is currently on a season-long loan at MK Dons after joining the club in the summer from Fulham, but the loan spell at Stadium mk is set to be cut short to allow the Wales international to make the move to Sheffield United.
The 21-year-old has started just seven games for MK Dons since joining the club on loan with his seven other appearances coming off the bench.

Williams, who made his debut for Fulham in August 2014, is highly regarded at Craven Cottage, but he finds himself down the pecking order in Slavisa Jokanovic’s first-team plans.
Fulham are ready to send him out on loan again for the second half of the season and sources have told HITC Sport that Sheffield United are poised to land Williams.
United boss Chris Wilder has made a move to bring the versatile forward to Bramall Lane to bolster his attacking options as he looks to keep his side’s bid for promotion on track.
