The Nottingham Forest ace could be closing in on a move to Sheffield United.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Sheffield United have had a bid accepted for Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn.
The newly promoted Blades will be desperate to get a deal for the 24-year-old over the line, as Chris Wilder looks to beef up his options across the middle of the pitch.
And Osborn could be just the ticket for Sheffield United.
The Forest ace racked up a goal and six assists in 39 Championship appearances last season.
The Daily Mail claims that the Blades new bid for Osborn, 24, is not thought to be in excess of the club record fee of £10 million United paid for Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset last week.
United allegedly previously had a £3 million offer rejected for the left-footed ace.
He is now in the final year of his contract, so Forest would be wise to move him on.
Osborn will be Sheffield United’s sixth summer signing, after Luke Freeman, Phil Jagielka, Callum Robinson, Ravel Morrison and Lys Mousset all arrived at Bramall Lane.
