The Chelsea academy product moved to Sheffield United on a season-long loan last July.

Jamal Blackman’s return to Sheffield United’s starting eleven owes much to Simon Moore’s sending off at Wolves.
Moore had displaced the on-loan Chelsea goalkeeper after returning from injury late last year, but hasn’t had a look in since Blackman returned seven games ago.
And the situation doesn’t look like changing any time soon, after Blackman’s heroics helped United to overcome Burton Albion 2-0 on Tuesday.
Nigel Clough’s side side came close to equalising shortly before half-time, but the Chelsea-owned player denied Lloyd Dyer’s effort, before the Blades doubled their advantage after the restart.

And though some questioned the 24-year-old’s performances earlier in the campaign, the consensus among Sheffield United fans now is that Blackman should be signed permanently this summer.

The Chelsea academy product has yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues, but signed a new four-year contract upon his departure for Bramall Lane ahead of this season.
