The Blades lost two key players to injury while John Egan was sent off for handball in the Championship draw against the Lions.

Sheffield United have suffered a further blow in their hopes of finishing second in the Championship after they conceded a late goal to draw 1-1 with Millwall in Saturday’s game at Bramall Lane.
Neither side could break the deadlock by the halfway point of the game but Gary Madine succeeded in opening the scoring in the 51st minute when he slotted home from John Fleck’s delivery across the box.
United had lost Chris Basham to an injury in the first half, which prompted Madine to come on in the defender’s place, while in the second period, top scorer Billy Sharp also had to come off due to a knock.
The Blades suffered a third personnel problem five minutes from time when John Egan was shown a straight red for handling a Tom Elliott header on the line, but Ben Marshall’s penalty hit the bar.
Unfortunately for Chris Wilder’s side, they could not see the game out as a 94th-minute diving header from Jake Cooper forced a split of the points at full time, putting them on 79 points with just four games left.
Some Sheff Utd fans took to Twitter at full time to bemoan the result, in particular Egan’s handball which will see him suspended for the run-in:
